Twelve is the number where a convoy still moves as one, a camp still fits around one fire, and no one becomes a passenger in their own expedition. Classic expeditions don’t get the easy version of a country. Their routes are drawn from the same map as our longest crossings.
Everything essential, intact.
70% of every Signature route is planned to the hour. The other 30% belongs to the road, and on a two-week crossing, that 30% is where most of the stories come from. The support entourage travels with you. Part of every day stays unplanned, on purpose. The machines, the camps, the safety net: all of it, scaled to fewer days and softened in none of them.
