Make Your Move

Build the journeys that change how people see the world.

Our Vision

We set out to change the way humans consume travel — replacing checklists with real transformation. Since 2016, that's meant building Nomadic Road into the standard for overland motoring expeditions to the planet's most remote corners. We're growing, and looking for people who want to build that standard with us.

What It's Like to Work Here

Working at Nomadic Road isn't a desk job that talks about adventure — it's a small team that plans it, drives it, and shows up for it. You'll work close to the ground: real routes, real logistics, real explorers depending on you to get it right. We push back on the easy answer and build our own instead. We say what's true, even when it's inconvenient. We'd rather own a mistake than hide from one. And we keep things simple — because the terrain gets complicated enough on its own.

Where You Might Fit

We're not hiring against fixed job descriptions right now — we're looking for strong people across a few areas. If one of these sounds like you, that's a good place to start.

Expedition Filmmakers & Photographers — out on the road with us, turning raw terrain and real moments into the stories that bring people back.

Marketing & Brand — telling our story to the right people, in the right way, across the right channels.

Partnerships & Growth — building the relationships and deals that help us reach further, faster.

Expedition Operations Lead — owning the journey end to end, from the first inquiry to the final mile, so every explorer's experience is seamless.

Community Manager — keeping the thread alive between expeditions, turning a one-time journey into a global community shaped by one instinct.

Don't see your fit listed? If you think you belong here, tell us why.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

Do I need expedition or travel industry experience?

Not necessarily. What matters more is whether you understand the role and bring the right attitude — a free-spirited, curious approach to the work. We genuinely value people from different backgrounds; some of our strongest team members didn't come from travel at all.

Is this remote, in-person, or a mix?

Mostly remote. Our team works from wherever they are — we don't believe in a one-roof policy. Our HQ is based in Canada, but that's not where all the work happens. Travel comes into play depending on the role: filmmakers and our Expedition Operations Lead travel to the journeys themselves, while Marketing, Brand, and Partnerships roles are largely remote, with travel only as and when it's needed.

What's the hiring process like?

Simple, and personal. If your email feels genuine and aligned with what we're building, our team will reach out directly — usually within two weeks — to set up a virtual interview with some specific questions about you and the role. If it's a fit on both sides, we'll move straight into next steps. No lengthy back-and-forth, no panel interviews — just a real conversation with the people you'd actually be working with.

How to Apply

We're looking for people who are sharp, self-directed, and genuinely energized by what we do — not just job-seekers, but people who'd read this far down a careers page out of real interest. If that's you, send us an email. Tell us what role or skill set you're bringing, and — more importantly — why Nomadic Road specifically. Generic cover letters don't stand out here; specific ones do.
